M11) Gayrettepe - Istanbul Airport metro has 7 stops between Kağıthane and Istanbul Airport. To reach Taksim from the airport, you need to get off at Gayrettepe metro station and transfer to Yenikapı Metro station. Before arriving at Yenikapı metro station, you need to get off at Taksim metro station.
You should get off at the Mecidiyeköy metro stop, transfer to the train that goes in the Hacıosman direction. Finally, get off at the İTÜ (Istanbul Technical University) stop.
From Taksim Square to MEF University
To get to MEF University from Taksim Square, you should take the metro heading toward Hacıosman from the metro station and get off at the ITU (Istanbul Technical University) stop.

IETT (Recommended)

You can reach Taksim from Sabiha Gökçen Airport 24 hours a day by IETT bus number SG-2, which departs every half hour.
